more of the same

retro but modern?
old but new?
I don't know, you tell me...

An illustration for washing your clothes in cold water... Apparently it saves you a lot of home energy...

This is weird... There's a company in the UK that invented the "Eco-box"... It takes the carbon dioxide from your breath and turns it into food for algae, that is eventually refined into biofuel for an airport... crazy stuff huh?

stay tuned.

July

Hello all,

Basically, Summer '09 is pretty tough. Lots of work, lots of bills, and lots of real life... But hey, we're still young, and we're still fuckin' cool dudes... This is pretty much my life right now...

That's Dan's instrument...

I didn't realize how serious this music thing was until recently... Then you have this on your hands... George is in...Who else is down for the cause?

workin' hard for the money...

Maybe not for the money, but workin' hard anyways.

Rockland County School District is going green...and I get to make some artwork for the story! I'm taking a break, so I figured I'd put up some early drafts...

Good friends this weekend. Take 'er easy

Hi everyone

What a summer it's been. Real life is busy, but kind of fun at the same time. My internship is at this magazine called New York House. A few weeks ago I got to go down to the Javit's Center for this green convention with all these cool appliances and home/business products. They used some of photo's in the magazine, but none of these. I figured I'd show you guys:

Lobby of the Javit's Center. Pretty Badass.

Solar panels that soccer mom's will love.

These guys wanted me to take their photo's. Look at what they sell.

Lighting of the future.

See everyone soon. Be good.

Rolling Stone Magazine

...is full of shit.

A mindless interview with Mike Tyson, famous for rape, assault and biting off a persons ear.

Another mindless interview with Sasha Grey, "Porn's biggest star."

A 4 & 1/2 star rating for Green Day's new album. "They've ended up the last band standing, the ones living up to their era's loftiest ideals and still writing their toughest songs long after they should have landed on Sober House."

...Last month they did a feature on Asher Roth, most notable for his deuchebag anthem "I love college." They praised him as the next Eminem.

I guess everyones got an agenda.

From Seattle

Hello everyone,

Today was Me and Mia's last day in WA. We had a fun filled, action packed week.

I learned a few important facts about the evergreen state this week:

1. American bald eagles are abundant here. They fly around like any other bird, just hangin' out.

2. Even though it rains here all winter, the summer weather is pretty much as perfect as it can get. 75-80 degrees, no humidity, pretty much from June-September. Very little rain. Weird how it works like that.

3. The West coast, generally speaking, is probably 10x more friendly than New York. Now, I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, I'm just stating a funny fact....for example:

Yesterday in Portland, we found a hot dog stand. Envision what you think of a New York City, dirty water cart. This stand was run by a middle aged woman, looking like she could be anyone of our moms. The lady heated up our food, even though she was already closing down for the day. After putting Mia's mustard on her veggie dog, she asked "Is that enough?..Do you want more?" She then attempted to cut open my sausage to make sure it was hot enough for me....I stopped her kindness right in her tracks and took it the way it was....

There were a lot of really awesome things that we did, but I'll explain another time.

Take 'er easy.
