Hello everyone,
Today was Me and Mia's last day in WA. We had a fun filled, action packed week.
I learned a few important facts about the evergreen state this week:
1. American bald eagles are abundant here. They fly around like any other bird, just hangin' out.
2. Even though it rains here all winter, the summer weather is pretty much as perfect as it can get. 75-80 degrees, no humidity, pretty much from June-September. Very little rain. Weird how it works like that.
3. The West coast, generally speaking, is probably 10x more friendly than New York. Now, I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing, I'm just stating a funny fact....for example:
Yesterday in Portland, we found a hot dog stand. Envision what you think of a New York City, dirty water cart. This stand was run by a middle aged woman, looking like she could be anyone of our moms. The lady heated up our food, even though she was already closing down for the day. After putting Mia's mustard on her veggie dog, she asked "Is that enough?..Do you want more?" She then attempted to cut open my sausage to make sure it was hot enough for me....I stopped her kindness right in her tracks and took it the way it was....
There were a lot of really awesome things that we did, but I'll explain another time.
Take 'er easy.
