important update!!!

Hello to all in the blogosphere,

It is with great honor, and much importance that I declare tonight on this blog....That there will be a Clark St. Art Gallery this summer. We will have an opening, with wine and beer and finger foods... Anyone who wants to submit artwork can, and it will be celebrated whole heartedly. We will accept photographs, paintings (alex), sculpture and any other types of art out there. I really mean it, we are very excited about this....all are invited. We will get together and enjoy each others creativity. Get crackin'.

One more thing I forgot about.

So a while back, I was working on those Darfur awareness posters. Well, I decided to change my direction after I stumbled upon a book in Barnes and Nobles titled Posters for the People. It's just an assortment of different awareness posters made during the WPA (Works Progress Admin.) during the Great Depression. Now, I'm sort of a fan of the New Deal, so this was extra cool to me. Basically these posters just tell the American people what to do. Get vaccinated, travel the country/world, support your local farmer...I really liked the idea of the government telling you to do something with propaganda but for positive causes. Anyways, this is what I came up with...

Well, I'm procrastinating pretty badly right now. For my photography class, I needed to document a place. So I thought, where better than Clark Street? Spring time brings out the best in it.
