Real swamped with finals coming up and all. Just thought I'd update everyone:

1. I believe, according to James, that the mid-May camping trip has been rescheduled for May 17th??? Can someone please confirm this? That gives us about 3 weeks to plan who's going/what to pack/etc.

2. I am an employed member of society once again. Starting this weekend I'll be working here. I'm very excited, to say the least.

3. Lately I've been real hooked on The Clash. "The only band that ever mattered", some say. Anyways, I found this ABSURD cover of London Calling on youtube. Check it out. That's Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl, some dude from the E Street Band, and the bass player from No Doubt. Pretty wild, huh?

4. Advertising is fun. For my final assignment in Principles of Advertising, we need to come up with a new creative ad campaign for Altoid's... "Refresh Your Life" is the slogan I came up with... Clark St. helped come up with the creative concept, and we have to make a story board for a commercial too. This is where I'm at right now:

Oh well, good luck to everyone out there with the last couple of weeks of school.

hello

hi everyone...

It's been a while but....This weekend was so awesome.

It all started thursday. Connor came up, we played some jams, then started drinking. Our new thing is to go to Spanky's on Thursday nights because they have this open mic blues jam. Basically all these old locals play blues rock all night. Anyways, Connor shredded so hard on guitar (the regulars nick named him "young blood") and I rocked a little drums. It was so awesome.

On Friday Steve, Connor and I cleansed our Chi in the Catskills. We were going to stay over night, but the camp grounds were all closed. We ate a delicious mexican meal at Pancho Villa's and scaled Katerskill Falls, which was unbelievably beautiful. "Awe inspiring" to say the least.

Saturday was Georges surprise birthday. We tricked him so bad. It was the most fun I've had in a while. On top of that, I played music in front of a whole bar of people! Talk about nerve racking. Too bad that crazy bartender made us stop rocking out... Oh well. I think I'm going to do that again soon, except play more than one and a half songs.

I just finished this for my class. Check 'er out.
